1) First off…who the hell are you??
Well…my name is Anthony Kennerson, I am a long time resident of South Louisiana, I am a Black, middle aged, and prematurly graying man, and I will be approaching my 45th birthday come May 7. Good enough for ‘ya??
2) Why is this blog called “The SmackDog Chronicles”, then, rather than just “Anthony Kennerson’s Blog”???
Because I’m a “‘Dog” (the hip-hop reference for a Black man) who loves to run plenty of smack about people and things…and blogs are all about chronicling my thoughts and opinions on the issues of the day. And it’s MY freakin’ blog, so I can call it what I want. If ‘ya don’t like it, there are others.
3) Do you do anything other than blog in your free time??
Uhhhhh…yeah….when I’m not working as a middle-lever supervisor at a local retail outlet, I’m usually at home. The work is hard enough and my schedule is whack enough that I blog only when I can get the time to.
4) What things do you like the most??
Mild cloud-free spring days and cool clear nights where you can roll up your windows and feel nature’s air conditioning. High-stepping marching bands. Intelligent, sexy, thoughtful and progressive women who don’t mind being a bit slutty now and then. Open-minded liberal/Leftist people. Cookies and cream ice cream (preferably with Oreo cookies. And….lasagna, or any pasta food. And seafood (other than oysters).
5) What things do you dislike the most??
Closed-minded people. Right-wing winguts who impose their stupidity on others. Valve trombones. Peanut butter. Erotophobic people. Right-wing libertarians. Hypocrites of all shapes and sizes.
6) Why do you blog so often about sex??
Because it’s a subject that interests me immensely….and because I dig strong, sexy, intelligent women. Especially those with nice racks and flat stomachs who actually act like they like sex.
7) You call yourself a “libertarian socialist”. Isn’t that an oxymoron, since “libertarian” usually means “less government” and “socialism” means “nothing but government control”??
Try getting your head out of Bill O’Reilly’s butt and listen up: A “libertarian socialist” is simply someone who believes in the socialist goal of using the powers of the state to enrich and equalize the incomes and opportunities for the masses, while respecting the individuality and diversity and personal autonomy of individual people. It’s the medium between “big government” and “no government”.
From glancing at your writings, you are very much “pro-pornography”. Is there any porn that you would oppose or wish to censor for the public good??
Well..I am only “pro-porn” to the extent that I support wholeheartedly and without any apology the right of an adult to engage in consenting sexual acts with another adult or group of adults or with himself, and I have no objection to other adults getting paid or paying to watch such adults engage in such sexual activity….or watching it for free in a controlled, consensual environment. There is porn that icks me out to the point that I would not want to watch it…but I’m not gonna put someone in jail for producing it unless he committed another crime or coerced someone into making it against their stated will.
9) What the hell is the “GenderBorg”? I see that term all through your posts.
The “GenderBorg” is simply my shorthand for a particularly daffy and obnoxious crew of “radicalfeminists” whose center of gravity is Samantha M. Berg’s Genderberg forum. They are not only antipornography and anti-prostitution to an extreme; they are deeply committed to a vision of opposing nearly every form of consensual adult sexual pleasure as a violation of their “radicalfeminist” diktats about “male domination” and “patriarchy”. Their collective hive mind is perfectly reminiscent of the race of assimillationists from Star Trek: The Next Generation as the Borg..hence the gloss.
